Beam Aluminum

Aluminum I-beams, can also be addressed as structural aluminum beams, are an extruded aluminum product, often utilizes 6061 aluminum alloy which is strong light weight, heat-treatable, and is easy to weld, cut, form and machine. I-beams are the standard shape for aluminum beams used in floor and ceiling joists to ensure that a structure will be physically sound. 6061 aluminum I-beams also lend themselves well to being anodized an important consideration when they are used in the construction of structures which will be exposed to weather extremes or other corrosive elements.
Aluminum I-beam can be found in the traditional I-beam shape or in multiple tapered and uneven variations - H-beam, W-beam, Universal Beam (UB), Rolled Steel Joist (RSJ), or double-T, is a beam with an I or H-shaped cross-section. It provides an excellent structural base for frame work, overhead and other supports, trailers, truck beds and railings, to name only a few applications. Aluminum I beam positive qualities and lower costs, it's easy to understand why aluminum I-beams play a major role in so many different types of construction projects.
